As I was packing my bookshelf today, besides finding dust and more dust, I came across PJC e-lit book. I bought it in the past but I did not really pay much attention to the poems written by students. As I was only interested in play, I only read the drama then. Due to my boredom and the excess time I have, I flipped around the e-lit book and to my surprise I came across a very interesting poem. And, I wonder why I didn’t notice it earlier. Haha. This poem TOTALLY speaks of what I felt when I was still preparing for my A’s. However now, I kind of miss Donne. Haha. Weird right. Thought, I'll share this with u guys =P Anyway, this is written by Melissa Cheng Bing.

Donne, be done
Busy Doone, unruly art thou.
Why dost thou thus,
Through Songs and Sonnets;
Satyres and Elegies,
At our sweet hearts batter?
Must we cease in our lives,
Til thou be thus satisfied?
Til our soules fill and combine,
In bitter love unto thee?
Til our world, pregnant with,
Fancy thou not barely a myth?
Til Atlanta's Balls no longer,
At men's sights do linger?
Til thy dearest flea, ruptured be
Bloodied there, for all to see?
Til thy compass doth snap,
And lead thee not on the map?
Til thy sphere loses control,
And towards west declines?
Til the rags of time observe,
How thou even had the nerve?
Til the foolish Sunne sinks in sorrow,
Right after thou cry Good Morrow?
Til Santa hates thee, and still,
Loathes not to lose, thou ill?
Till thy grave broke up below,
All because we love you so?

So...
"Go",
and if that word have not quite killed thee,
Then at my lips read:
Beat it.
Scram.
Jet.

And having done that,
Thou hast been done.

There'll be no more.

Siren
You are a Siren. More adventurous than all with a voice like no other you sit on warm rocks and sing to the moon and sea. Yet sometimes shipwrecks find you and raving men want you. You are a bottle of talent and power. What the unknown is you seek to find, and a lover. You have the moon and stars as freinds. There are a very few of you, what a rare find. Will you rate my quiz, I think your voice in just beautiful?

this hols is really rather b-o-r-i-n-g... nothing to do and nothing interesting happened.. haha.. okay, but i found something to do and it is not very meaningful.. haha... auntie joyce (my neighbour) gave us a whole big bag of vcds and dvds (I think there are abt 50 bah). so i can spend my hols watching all of it. but i'm not going watch all, cos some of it is horror movies. heh, maybe i can watch it in bright daylight.. haha! but it does not make any sense cause the atmosphere is destroyed. as she is still packing, more movies are coming in!! gosh, she is really those typical tai tai.. hehe =P

anyway, i confirm watching initial d with mei mei this coming mon. that's because we couldn't get the tickets yesterday.. and i'm still considering if i shd meet grace, qing, char, etc for ghost train later in the night. haha.. if u guys could change on what to watch, then i would definitely go la... haha.. otherwise, I and qing can hug each other in the theater.. haha

You Are 8 Years Old

8

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

You Are 60% Normal

(Really Normal)

Otherwise known as the normal amount of normal

You're like most people most of the time

But you've got those quirks that make you endearing

You're unique, yes... but not frighteningly so!

How Normal Are You?

Humans are the weirdest thing on earth. Dun you think so? haha... when exams or datelines are drawing near, you would always wish you had more time to finish the work on hand. but when it is gone, you have so much time on hand, you dunno what to do with it.. haha.
